MOCA-Richard Rownak

This week  decided to highlight Richard Rownak. His work was filled with colors and had interesting perspectives. The color definitely caught my eye and that's why I decided to focus on him this week.

I found this piece to be very interesting. I loved the city in he background, along with the mountain and ocean which you don't normally see in city life. The statue lying on the beach was a very cool image for him to use.

  1. My day students are creating work pretty similar to this... the art of surrealism lies in putting together objects that could never exist together in the waking state.
