Wish for Peace
After going thru the MOCA I found Karim Bouchnak
artistic pieces to be very interesting.
I chose the piece “Wish for Peace”.
The letting go of the dove into the sky symbolizes love and peace. Also presenting a reflection of the armed
force standing on a tank also is a symbol of what our Men and Women go thru
just so that we can have freedom and peace in the world. “Karim Bouchnak was
born in Hammamet, Tunisia. His art is basically fractal based but sometimes
collages or overlays his fractals with photographs or drawings. He writes,
"Everyone can find his own history reflected in an image."
It's one of the great things about the Internet age that someone from Tunisia can post work on a site that Americans also post to... very nice collage.
